Speak to a lawyer in Geneva

A first meeting of forty-five minutes to establish what you can claim, what you stand to lose, the procedural deadlines that bind you, and where to start.

If the situation warrants it, a mandate opens straight away. If it does not, we say so. The files we take on are then followed over time, not case by case.

Get in touch with a lawyer in Geneva

A summons from the Public Prosecutor, a criminal order to challenge within the opposition period, assets frozen on an exchange, a contract to review before signature, a business partner restricting access to company accounts, a debt to recover or a third party's liability to establish: these situations all leave you little time to decide, even though your decision shapes what follows.

The meeting addresses your difficulty. It establishes the legal characterisation of your situation, identifies the deadlines to be met, then determines the next steps to protect your interests. You leave with a clear view of your situation, which puts you in a position to decide whether steps should be taken, and what it would cost.

Our areas of practice include criminal defence and white-collar crime, digital asset fraud, civil and commercial litigation, corporate law and contracts. See the team

Frequently asked

Before you book

What should I bring?

Anything from an authority, a bank or an opposing party. Summons, criminal order, lawyer's letter, statements, contracts. Even partial, these documents change how precise we can be.

Is the meeting free if I then instruct the firm?

No. The meeting costs CHF 200 and this amount remains payable whether you proceed or not. If you subsequently entrust a file to the firm, the CHF 200 are set off against the first fee note. You therefore do not pay twice, but you do pay for the meeting.

Can my legal expenses insurance cover this?

Often, yes. Free choice of lawyer is guaranteed in Switzerland. Tell us your insurer and we will check the cover and handle the request on your behalf.

What if my case falls outside your areas?

We tell you during the meeting and refer you to a suitable colleague. You do not lose time.

Is the meeting confidential?

Yes. Lawyer-client privilege covers the exchange from first contact, whether or not a file is entrusted to us.

What happens next?

If action is warranted, we send you a fee agreement setting out the scope and billing method. If none is warranted, we tell you that too.

Set out your situation in writing

No slot suits you, or you would rather write first? Set out the subject of your request briefly. We will come back to you as soon as possible. All communications are covered by lawyer-client privilege.

An emergency? Detention, a search under way, an imminent hearing, an appeal or opposition deadline about to expire. A hearing listed at short notice, notification of a decision, provisional measures. A contract to review before signature within forty-eight hours, or a transaction that cannot wait. Call +41 22 512 76 00. Do not use online booking.

Your appointment data stays in Switzerland. The booking module, the contact form and the firm's email are hosted with a Swiss provider. Your exchanges with the firm are covered by lawyer-client privilege.
