2. Purpose of the Site and absence of legal advice
The Site presents the Firm, its areas of practice and publishes general legal information provided for information purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, is no substitute for it and creates no attorney-client relationship. Every individual situation calls for specific examination; no decision should be taken on the sole basis of the information published without prior legal advice tailored to your case.
3. Contact and mandate relationship
Contacting the Firm through the Site, the form or by email does not conclude a mandate. An attorney-client relationship arises only upon written confirmation from the Firm, after verification that no conflict of interest exists and, where applicable, signature of an engagement agreement. Until a mandate is established, do not send confidential or privileged information, in particular by unencrypted email.
4. Intellectual property
All elements of the Site (texts, articles, structure, logos, graphic elements) are protected by copyright and remain the property of the Firm or its licensors. Any reproduction, representation or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation, is prohibited. A brief quotation remains permitted provided the source is clearly indicated.
5. Third-party links and content
The Site may contain links to third-party sites, over which the Firm exercises no control and for whose content and privacy practices it declines responsibility.
6. Liability
The Firm endeavours to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information published without guaranteeing it; the law evolves and some information may be incomplete or outdated. To the extent permitted by law, the Firm declines all liability for direct or indirect damage arising from access to the Site, its use or the inability to access it, and from the use of the information it contains.
7. Data protection
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any question relating to the Site are governed by Swiss law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Geneva, subject to any mandatory jurisdiction provided by law.
